HELLO,I’M SARAH.
I’m a certified coach and former music exec.
I coach executive women in the music industry to quiet self-doubt, build confidence, and lead with clarity and IMPACT.
You’ve built a name in music, but you’re ready for more.
I help you go from stuck to sure, with coaching that gives you space to think, lead, and move forward on your terms.
ABOUT ME
I’VE LIVED THIS INDUSTRY
With 20+ years experience in music.
HMV, music journalist, in-flight entertainment, Metropolis Studios, and over a decade in business development at BMG Records, Sony Music, and EMI.
I worked with some of the biggest artists and brands in the world, including Coldplay, Katy Perry, Kings of Leon, The Beatles, Elvis Presley and Now That’s What I Call Music. I helped launch One Direction’s first European merchandise range
I’ve managed merchandise distribution across Europe for clients including Live Nation and Warner Music. Bringing iconic band merch like AC/DC and Metallica into retail, and created VIP tour merch for Harry Styles.
I’ve delivered results in high-pressure roles and experienced the old-school culture that still shapes parts of the industry.
I know how exhausting it is to keep proving yourself.
Now, I help women break that cycle, and back themselves fully.
MY WHY
When I was 34, I left major record labels after a decade of experiencing many of the challenges that women in music still navigate today.
I realised I didn’t have to keep following the old playbook and I could shape my own future. So I built a new path in music, one that finally allowed me to lead in a way that felt authentic.
I moved into merchandise - growing, leading, and redefining success on my own terms. Over the next decade, I led business development across Europe.
Later, in LA, I retrained as a Co-Active coach - completing over 200 hours of training and earning my CPCC and ACC credentials with the ICF.
Since then, I’ve continued to deepen my practice, completing certifications in Leadership & Executive Coaching and ADHD in Focus for Coaches (ICF-accredited). I’m also a Certified Practitioner for the LINC Personality Profiler, an assessment that helps leaders understand their strengths, motives, and character traits to build greater self-awareness and impact.
Through all of that, one thought kept returning: I wish I’d had someone back then. Someone who could help me see a path into leadership, and believe I belonged there. Now, I’m that someone for other women.
I’m a Londoner now living in NYC, via LA - and no matter the city, the same story plays out: women being shut out of leadership.
That’s why I coach women in music - so you don’t have to do this alone.
WHAT I STAND FOR
A music industry where women rise - and stay. True equity. Equal pay.
Right now, 84% of senior leaders in music are white men. A statistic that speaks volumes about the work still to be done.
We need more women in leadership, and a culture that recognises talent, collaboration, and authenticity over who you went to the pub with.
I believe change happens faster when we work together - across genders, generations, and roles.
My coaching space is inclusive. I proudly work with women and gender expansive people and the queer community.
Your pronouns, your identity, and your voice are respected and welcomed here.
I look forward to discovering how I can support you.
Always in your corner,
