If you’ve ever sat in a meeting thinking, “Why am I working twice as hard to be taken half as seriously?” you’re in the right place.
I spent over 20 years working in the music industry - often as the only woman in the room.
Across record stores, a recording studio, distributing merch for partners like Live Nation and Warner Music, and a decade at major labels including BMG, Sony Music and EMI.
I delivered results in high-pressure business development roles and built a career in an industry I loved.
And I felt the toll.
The unspoken rules.
The egos.
The constant need to prove yourself.
I see it now in the women I coach: capable, experienced women who start overthinking decisions they’re more than qualified to make; not because they lack ability, but because the culture slowly wears them down.
I chose this work because I wish I’d had this kind of support when I was in the music industry - and I wanted to offer that to other women navigating it now.
That’s why I created the Music Career Success Scorecard - a short, thoughtful reflection many women use before deciding their next move.

Today, I’m a certified, ICF-accredited coach.
I work with women in music who want to think clearly and trust themselves again.
This isn’t about fixing you. It’s grounded, practical coaching that helps you back yourself - especially in environments that make that harder than it should be.
This is an inclusive and respectful space. I proudly work with women, gender-expansive people, and the queer community.
Right now, 84% of senior leaders in music are white men.
That reality shapes both the conversations I hold and the work I do.
I can’t change the industry alone - but I can support women to navigate it on their own terms.
If you’re tired of overthinking, unsure of your next move - I’m here.
No agenda.
Just focused support and practical momentum.
Always in your corner,
Sarah
