Hello I’m Sarah
If you’ve ever sat in a meeting thinking, “Why am I working twice as hard to be taken half as seriously?” You’re in the right place.
I spent over 20 years in the music industry.
I worked for major labels for a decade including BMG, Sony Music and EMI, before moving into music merchandise, working with brands including Live Nation and Warner Music.
I was often the only woman in the room. I know what it feels like to work incredibly hard, deliver at a high level, and still feel like you have to prove yourself again and again.
I also know what happens over time when talented women spend years navigating pressure, politics, egos and environments that weren’t exactly designed with them in mind.
Even the most capable women can start second guessing themselves.
That experience is a huge part of why I care so deeply about this work.
I built my career in London, later lived in Los Angeles, where I retrained as a coach. I now live in New York where I run my coaching business supporting women across the music industry.
I love what I do. I love helping women back themselves properly and seeing incredible things happen.
I work with women in music because it’s personal. I know the magic of this industry and the chaos of it. I understand the pressure, politics and personalities.
That’s the work that drives me. I care deeply about helping women build careers in music that feel exciting and fully their own.
