COACHING ISN’T JUST ABOUT BURNOUT
Lately I’ve seen a lot of posts that make it seem like coaching’s only for when you’re flat out, fried, and crawling to the finish line.
And yes, if you’re there, absolutely please get the support you need.
But there’s another group of women who need coaching too.
The ones who’ve delivered results, built a name, and earned their seat, but are still being overlooked, underestimated, and underpaid.
The ones hitting glass ceilings while holding the entire team together.
Navigating egos and dodging power plays.
Second-guessing themselves when they know they’ve got what it takes.
That’s who I coach.
They want a thinking partner; someone in their corner who’s been there, who gets the industry, and who can hold space while they figure out what’s next.
I remember being in my early 30s, hungry to lead, but boxed in by a culture that wasn’t built for me.
No real succession plan. No roadmap. No one saying, “You’ve got this.”
So I became the executive coach I wish I’d had.
Here’s what Sophie said after we worked together:
“Sarah helped me grow through a period of significant change. She’s an incredible coach who’s been there, and gets it. Months later, I still think, ‘What would Sarah say to me now?’”
