EXTROVERTS & INTROVERTS

I was at a music industry event this week and bumped into a friend. Within minutes we were both saying the same thing:

It’s loud.
We’re straining our voices.
We’re already tired.
We might need to leave soon.

It got me thinking how many rooms like that I’ve been in over the years.

The music industry is often portrayed as vibrant, bold and loud. As if that’s what it takes to succeed.

And yet… you don’t have to be the loudest person in the room to have something worth saying.

Some of the most thoughtful, impactful leaders I know are introverts.

They listen. They observe. They choose their moments.

If you had to place yourself on a scale of 1–10
(1 = very introverted, 10 = very extroverted)
where do you sit?

There’s room for more than one way to lead.
