I QUIT MAJOR LABELS at 34

I was 34 when I quit major labels.

After a decade in the business (BMG, Sony Music and EMI) I recognised the leadership path wasn’t built for women like me.

No one left, there was no succession plan, and nowhere to grow.

So, I made a bold move. I shifted into music merch, built something new, and kept growing.

Sometimes the bravest thing you can do in this industry is decide you’re not waiting your turn anymore.

Now I coach women in music who are standing at that same crossroads.

Most are 32–36. Talented, experienced, ambitious and ready to lead, but unsure how.

Whether that means rising where they are or redefining the path entirely.

I want more women leading in music, and I believe you can be one of them.

If that’s you, I’m your coach.
