NOT PLAYING BY THEIR RULES ANYMORE

Whether you’ve been here from the start or just found me today, I figured it was about time for a proper introduction.

We often look back on the past year, but when was the last time you paused to take stock of a whole decade?

My last 10 years in a nutshell:

  • Moved from London to LA, then to New York - three cities, three life-changing chapters

  • Became a certified coach and cemented my passion for helping women lead in the music industry

  • Coached 40+ women in music after layoffs, helping them rebuild confidence and careers

  • Quit a job during a global pandemic - terrifying but one of the best decisions I’ve ever made

  • Walked barefoot over hot coals to raise money for London Zoo

  • Organised beach cleans and raised funds for ocean conservation as LA Coordinator for Sea Shepherd

  • Took an improv class with strangers in New York - it was terrifying, but I loved it

  • Led Dave Grohl to a late-night bar in Stockholm - one of many unexpected music industry moments

  • Married my incredible wife in a very British wedding with a London taxi and a big red bus

It’s been a ride. And every twist has shaped how and why I coach women to lead with confidence and on their own terms.

So… what have the last 10 years looked like for you?

WHY I COACH WOMEN IN MUSIC

If you’ve ever felt talented, ambitious, and still stuck on the sidelines - I get it.

I’m a certified coach (CPCC, ACC) and former music exec, and I’ve been exactly where you are.

Over 20 years in this industry took me from record stores to recording studios, and over a decade in business development at major labels and another decade in merch.

I’ve delivered results in high-pressure roles, navigated more boys’ club dynamics than I care to remember, and I know how exhausting it is to keep proving yourself over and over again.

At 34, after years of pushing against the glass ceiling with no progression in sight, I realised: I didn’t have to keep playing by their rules. So I left major labels. I built a new path in music - one where I could lead, grow, and define success on my own terms.

Now, I help other women do the same.

Not just to survive in this industry - but to rise, to lead, and to make their brilliance impossible to ignore.
