WE ALL HEAR THE FLAWS, BUT DON’T FORGET THE WINS

Ever listened back to yourself and only heard the flaws?

This week I sat in the hot seat for my first ever podcast interview.

I was asked about how I got started in music, what I help women in music achieve through coaching, what it’s like being an advocate for women in this space; and how music businesses receive that message.

It was exciting, intimidating, and a chance to reflect on my career, and on the work I now do with women in music, helping them face their own moments of doubt with courage and clarity.

Of course, listening back, all I heard were the flaws, the filler phrases, the pauses, the uncertainty. We all have that voice that tells us we ‘should’ have done it better.

But I’m proud of myself for doing it, because backing myself, even when it feels uncomfortable, matters to me.

I’m an executive coach, yes; but I’m also a woman running her own business for the first time, working it out as I go. How I show up for my clients, my community, and myself matters deeply to me as integrity is one of my core values.

Growth often lives in the uncomfortable:

  • The conversation you’re nervous to start.

  • The opportunity you’re unsure you’re ready for.

  • The promotion you’re hesitating going for.

My work is about standing alongside women in music as you take on those uncomfortable moments; with clarity, courage, and support.

So, where are you right now, and what’s the uncomfortable thing you’re ready to lean into?

I’m not stopping here, next month I’m taking part in my first ever panel in New York. Can’t wait to see where this all takes me….

Oh, and if you want to listen to that 20 minute podcast tap the image above. I’m curious what stands out for you. Drop me a line here.

Always in your corner.
