London Trip: Wonderful Women

My cup is full.

This week, back in my hometown of London, I’ve been surrounded by incredible women in music. We've been celebrating, connecting, laughing, sharing stories, and cheering each other on.

The highlight was standing in a room full of powerful women at the Music Week Women in Music Awards. The energy was something else. You could feel it; the pride, the fight, the love, the resilience.

As a former music industry exec and now an executive coach for women in music, I know first-hand what we’re up against. The double standards, the glass ceilings, the pay gaps, the layoffs, the motherhood challenges, the unsupportive bosses, the imposter syndrome that creeps in no matter how senior you are.

But this week reinforced what I already knew - women in music are unstoppable when we back each other.

When we celebrate one another, name what needs to change and show up, together.

Women in music aren’t just part of this industry - we’re shaping it. We’re leading with courage, heart, and integrity, and we’re not waiting for permission anymore.

To every woman I met this week - thank you for the honesty, the warmth, the laughter, and the hope.

You filled my cup right up. ❤️
