Marissa DeVito Consulting
A moment in your career when you really backed yourself.
“Starting my own consulting business! It was (and continues to be) scary, but I did it anyway and I’m so glad I did.
It is inconsistent, chaotic and I absolutely sometimes take on too much but I have never been happier in my professional or personal life and wouldn't change a thing.”
One thing you’re proud of in your career.
“I am incredibly proud of how far I’ve come and my ability to learn from mistakes - and I have ABSOLUTELY made them.
Big ones and small ones, they've all somehow turned into learning opportunities.
That has brought me to a space where I'm able to combine my passion for music, social impact and community into a career.
Which frankly seemed impossible, which is a lesson in itself, I suppose!”
Name another woman in music who inspires you, and why.
“Cameo Carlson - she speaks her mind ALWAYS.
She is the biggest advocate for those who need it most, because she believes it's the right thing to do.
She has been extremely successful in her life and career, and instead of keeping it all to herself, she brings as many people along with her as she can.
That's what has made me want to do it too, because what fun is success if you can't share it & help people? "
