Catalogue Consultant, Freelance
A moment in your career when you really backed yourself.
“Leaving a really good, stable job working for Paul McCartney at MPL in 2016 to set up my own catalogue consultancy.
I got on offer to work on the U2 catalogue, and from there did reissues and catalogue releases for Metallica, Portishead, PJ Harvey, Dire Straits, Shania Twain, Neil & Tim Finn, Elton John and Madonna.”
One thing you’re proud of in your career.
“The teenage me is particularly proud of the fact that my name appears in the credits of reissues of some of my favourite albums from my youth, including Achtung Baby by U2 and Metallica’s Black Album.
It’s never a given that you get a name-check for your work - but when you do, it’s very special.”
Name another woman in music who inspires you, and why.
“Right now, I’m really inspired by Sarah Boorman, General Manager of Youth Strategies at Universal UK. She’s a really dynamic and exceptional woman who is an absolute expert in her field.
But I’d also like to say that there are many, many women that I would name here if space permitted, including the genre-defining female artists that I have had the privilege of doing projects for.”
